March 2023 Mystery Premieres
Not all mystery premieres have been announced by Hallmark, but there are a few March movies that we are excited to check out!
The one “official” mystery is the first installment in a brand new series called The Cases of Mystery Lane, which premieres Sunday March 19th at 7 pm ET on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel.
The Cases of Mystery Lane stars Aimee Garcia (who was seen on Dexter and Lucifer) and Paul Campbell (who was on Battlestar Galatica and multiple Hallmark movies) as Birdie and Alden Case.
The pair plays a married couple who “find a way to keep the mystery alive.” In this movie, a restless Alden begins secretly taking private investigator lessons but becomes entangled in a real murder mystery! He might just need to come clean and gain the help of his successful attorney wife in order to solve the case.
This movie promises to deliver more of the humor, romance, and clever clues that we expect to see in a Hallmark mystery. It will also be fun to watch a married sleuthing couple here, and we can see if they follow in the footsteps of the Harts (Hart to Hart), Nick and Nora Charles (The Thin Man movies), or Tommy and Tuppence Beresford (Agatha Christie’s creations.)
There are also some movies premiering on Hallmark Channel this month that have just a hint of mystery.
The Love Club: Nicole’s Pen Pal premieres Saturday March 4th at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel. In this movie, Nicole (played by Brittany Bristow) is freshly engaged, but wonders if she missed out on the “the one” when she never discovered the identity of her mystery pen pal in college. Now with the help of her friends in the Love Club, she she sets out to track down the identity of this secret admirer.
A Picture of Her premieres Saturday March 25th at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel. In this mystery, Beth becomes the unknowing subject of an award-winning magazine’s cover, she sets out to uncover the identity of the mysterious photographer. This stars Rhiannon Fish (from Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths) and Tyler Hynes (from Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas and Three Wise Men and a Baby.)
